Metro Diary 2: Early mornings

Early morning metros are interesting place to observe people.

As I keep a watch on whether the trains are maintaining time by peeping in others' phones ðŸ˜œ (mine safely tucked in bag), some sleep like they had never got out of bed in the first place. Mouth open, head rolling on the window ledge or glass partitions or on to their own knees, using their scarves to wrap themselves, they catch precious morning sleep and surprisingly manage to get up just before their stations. Some even do some facial exercises before they get up to get down. They rub hands and cover their eyes with warm palms. They open their eyes slowly to take in the light. It's no less than watching the proverbial Sleeping Beauty waking up ðŸ˜Š

The only thing that I have missed seeing is a toothbrush but then may be someday, I will.
