#MetroDiary 10: Season change in metro

“Tennu suit, suit kar da .. “ the man was so insistent that it seemed like his voice was going up in anger! I looked at the girls fingers. Those were to blame (or to give credit). She was my ear-plug wala DJ today... She of course likes what the man says as she raised the volume. She was wearing a pair of jeans though with a long kurta and a hijab. Was it a hijab or she was one of those who liked to keep most of their faces covered and religion had nothing to do with it? She kept her mouth covered. Was it the pollution? After all we were in the world’s most polluted city.

Her phone wore bunny ears that had glitters on them. Many others had phone covers with glitters too. And much to the dismay of the singer, almost no one wore Indian suits (did he mean business suit? 🤔) anymore in the early morning metro. The season has changed you see..
