#MetroDiary28: Sandals galore...

I generally take the office time metro and when I started traveling, I must accept, I expected people to be dressed as drably as me. Although the winter months were rather boring with half of the people sleeping, advent of summer changes it all.
The con is of course that I don’t get a seat on most days. The pros are many on the other hand! People are awake, they are talking on the phone as well as with each other, they wear more interesting clothes, and of course shoes and sandals.
You would think people will wear just plain shoes going to office. Like these men who were sitting across me in the morning but that’s not the case at all!

There are myriad types of sandals that you can see in myriad colours. The “shine” seemed the most common factor, though. Shine makes its presence felt in heeled, flat, intricately designed, as well as the strap(py) ones. Do these women try to bring some shine to their days and some rhythm to their feet?

One spoke loudly on phone, “ .. I also had some documents, right? But I am not as foolish as him to go and show these to them already! I would complete my investigation and then only come up with all the evidence!” I looked for black boots after that. All I found was shiny silver sandals and manicured nails. Detectives have started coming in all dresses and sandals these days!

....And black boots travel engrossed in mom in law-daughter in law serials :)
